Being the daughter of a polygamous father, Sister Wives star Gwendlyn is not new to the difficulties accompanying the situation. Kody and Christine Brown’s 21-year-old daughter grew up in the TLC series spotlighting Kody and his polygamous life. Although the show revealed details about Kody’s interactions with his family, it also drew unwanted attention from women drawn to Kody. In a recent YouTube video, Gwendlyn discussed how she felt uncomfortable and irritated when ladies chased after her father. She re-watched an episode from the Joy Behar Show from 2010, in which Kody was asked jokingly by Joy whether she could be his fifth wife.
Later, Gwen also disclosed that other women had also expressed their keen interest in her dad besides Joy Behar. According to her, it was a “serious problem” with women just wanting their dad in their life. In addition, the star revealed that one of her teachers was “so creepy” that she had to leave her coaching. Gwendlyn continued that the teacher was “weird”. She wasted half of an entire class just gossiping about how much she loved the family. She noted that her elder brother Garrison, who spent more time in the teacher’s class, had to put up with her abnormalities
In the later part, she also discussed how her dad Kody Brown ran into legal issues in Utah due to his polygamy practices. According to her, they were ordered to leave by the police and were even threatened to put Kody in jail. The celebrity claimed that this was one of the factors behind their relocation to Flagstaff. Gwendlyn’s mom Christine was the first to leave Kody in late 2021 after 25 years of marriage. The star disagrees with everything Kody does, but she still loves him and hopes for the best for him.

Joy Behar is well-recognized for her witty remarks, but Gwendlyn Brown is not impressed by her humor. Gwendlyn recently blasted Joy for being “too chummy” with her father on live television and admitted that dealing with ladies who had a thing for Kody was a common issue. In a YouTube video, Gwendlyn rewinds a clip from a 2010 interview on The Joy Behar Show.
The video features the host asking Kody if she could be his fifth wife. He was then married to all his four wives. Brown joked that he wanted five. Gwendlyn remarked that she found her dad “so funny” for saying that, but Joy’s flirtatious question did not amuse her. Until now, Joy hasn’t responded to Gwendlyn’s criticism.
