The Merrifields Desperate Way To Stay Relevant
Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield have caught so much heat in their three seasons of Seeking Sister Wife. It started when Garrick tried to use God as his excuse to have multiple wives. Yet, viewers have never been convinced that was true but rather an easy way for him to sleep with multiple women. Additionally, he disregards his wife’s feelings when she tries to open up to him. In this current season, the Merrifields are courting a new wife, Nathalia after their first potential sister wife, Roberta, bailed. Dannielle does not feel she is connecting with Nathalia in the same way Garrick is and it is hurting her.
He did not care and proceeded to take off to Brazil for a month to be with his new fiancee. Dannielle and Garrick aren’t legally married anymore so she fears he may never come back. There has been so much negativity surrounding Garrick so fans are wondering if they are taking drastic measures to stay relevant. A Reddit thread was started to address this:

Not Going Anywhere
The general consensus was that the Merrifields would be sticking around for the foreseeable future. They have been talking about them and that is vital to TLC. Plus, as Seeking Sister Wife fans noted, they love the trainwreck. However, the one issue that they do have is the fact that Dannielle and Garrick’s two sons are involved in all of this. They are two innocent beings who should not have to be subject to their parents and their poor choices.
