General Hospital Update: Tuesday, August 1 – Snooper Exposed, Fierce Showdown and Medical News Spreads

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 1, indicates that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will be fading fast in the Pentonville library. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) rushed to Cyrus’ aid in the middle of a cardiac episode, but Cyrus is already starting to drift into the white light.

However, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will share some scenes with Cyrus this week, so that sounds like a good sign when it comes to his brother surviving. Martin may get some urgent news and race to Cyrus’ side as he recovers.

Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will quiz Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about Pikeman and just how deep his dealings run with them. Since Anna knows Pikeman’s reputation, she’ll worry about what Sonny’s gotten himself into.

Other GH spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will sit down with Anna and Sonny, so they’ll once again discuss which one of them was the target and who was responsible.

Dante will still be on board with helping Anna set a trap for the culprit, but he’ll fret over what’ll happen to Anna if Sonny’s right about the WSB’s involvement. It’ll leave Dante on edge, so he’ll want Anna to be careful.

Over with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), she’ll seek Sonny out for an important conversation about her foundation.

Kristina previously seemed against the idea of Sonny pulling strings and making things easy for her, but it looks like she’ll let him after all.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) encouraged Kristina to lean on their father more, so Kristina may tell Sonny about that chat and her brother’s perspective.

At home, Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) will talk to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about her earlier discussion with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who warned about the risks of using a family member like Kristina as a surrogate.

TJ and Molly will have to consider those risks as they contemplate whether Kristina should help them bring a baby into this world – especially since that baby would share a biological connection to her.

While Molly and TJ make a huge choice about their future, Alexis will give Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) some distressing updates.

Gregory definitely won’t be pleased when he learns Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) called Alexis to inquire about his health.

Alexis knows how Tracy operates, so she’ll want to fill Gregory in – just in case Tracy tries to cause any trouble for him.

Across town, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will drop some hints until Ava Jerome (Maura West) finally urges her to just say whatever it is that she wants to say.

That’ll lead to Carly voicing her suspicions about Ava digging into her bag of tricks again.

Carly won’t know what Ava and Sonny are up to, but she’ll assume Ava is the one causing drama and dragging Sonny into it.
