General Hospital Spoilers: Dex’s Alarming Discovery Puts Ava on Lockdown – Warns Sonny About Threat

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will do his job right and leap into action when danger presents itself. On January 30, Dex will discover a threat and sound the alarm to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as well as Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Although Ava has been living with Sonny for her protection, he assured her there was no need for lockdown just yet.

Sonny suggested Ava should perhaps spend some time on his island in Puerto Rico, but he didn’t act like it was urgent.

Ava suspected that was more about Sonny’s desire to accompany her there and get away from Nina anyway.

Before Sonny and Ava can make any island arrangements, Dex will find out something troubling and report back.

Whatever Dex reveals will leave Ava truly terrified, so there may be another little “gift” for her.

Dex might be the first one to spot a new message for Ava and reveal its contents.

GH writers still haven’t revealed the person responsible for threatening Ava, but more clues could surface soon enough.

Once Ava faces another round of terror, will Sonny change his mind about putting her on lockdown?

Ava may need to stay hidden with beefed up protection – at least until can gather more information and work on an elimination plot.

Of course, it’s also possible the spoilers are a bit misleading if Dex ends up finding out about Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) duping the cops.

In addition to whatever terror Ava might face for herself, she’ll also worry about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) since Esme is such a wildcard.

Regardless, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will indeed target Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) in Paris, so Ava will hope Spencer can keep her safe as the chaos erupts.

Trina is like a second daughter to Ava, so it’d break Ava’s heart if anything happened to her – especially after Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) faced such a grim fate.

Ava never wants to go through a loss like that ever again, so she’ll just have to trust that Spencer will keep all his promises to protect Trina.

The good news is Trina will survive Esme’s upcoming revenge plot and get a little payback of her own.

The bad news is Spencer won’t be as lucky and will likely force a mourning period with his presumed demise.
