General Hospital Update: Tuesday, January 2 – Brenda announces Sonny’s son, Adam becomes heir to Corinthos

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 2, reveals that a long-awaited big reveal is brewing. After a sports coverage preemption on Monday, January 1, we’ll see some intense moments as a major secret comes to light.

At Crimson, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) will prepare to meet up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and tell him the truth about her SEC snitching, but Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) arrival will delay that plan.

Willow will get off work at the hospital and come to Nina for assistance with something – perhaps a surprise for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and the kids.

Whatever the case, it’ll warm Nina’s heart to be included and leave her fearful about losing Willow forever once her secret is exposed.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will explain her logic to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

There might be concerns about how Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) or someone else would react to new wedding details.

It seems Brook Lynn will want to do something that might be met with disapproval, but she’ll think it’s better to skip asking for permission and just ask for forgiveness later.

Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will worry about an upcoming discussion with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), which will involve Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) school since she doesn’t want to transfer.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will get updates and wonder what Drew’s reaction will look like, so Sam may admit she doesn’t know anymore.

Drew has been acting out of character lately, so Sam will fret over the possibility of him fighting her on this.

Other GH spoilers say Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will sound the alarm to Michael and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), so they’ll ditch the fireworks on the pier and return to The Savoy.

Olivia will tell Ned and Michael that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) figured out Nina tipped off the SEC, so the three of them will try to stop her from blabbing to Sonny.

Back at the nightclub, Lois will work to convince Sonny that she knows who really ratted out Drew and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for insider trading.

Sonny will insist it’s Ned, but Lois will argue that it’s someone else instead.

When Michael appears, Lois will push Sonny to ask his son for answers. Sonny will do just that, so he’ll put pressure on Michael and ultimately pry a confession out of him.

As things blow up just like Olivia feared they would, she’ll chew Lois out for refusing to mind her own business.

In bed with Drew, Carly will be brimming with optimism about the new year, but it sounds like a phone call will change her world forever.
