General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Plays Hero for Sasha – Exposes Gladys’ Scheme, Earns Willow’s Approval?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may do some digging now that she’s starting to seem suspicious of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Gladys kept playing up how Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) might be losing touch with reality again in the July 14 episode.

That’s also when Gladys suggested maybe it was her responsibility to inform the court of Sasha’s shoplifting drama.

Of course, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was able to work out a deal with the store and make the charges go away.

Ratting out Sasha would get her in unnecessary trouble, so Nina warned against it.

However, Gladys is determined to extend the guardianship and needs Sasha to look unstable for that to happen.

Between this incident and Sasha’s behavior due to the drug reaction she’s having, Gladys may be able to keep riding the gravy train!

Fortunately, Nina cares about Sasha and won’t just abandon her when she’s going through all this.

Despite not actually being Sasha’s mom, Nina still feels a maternal need to protect her.

Since Gladys is acting so shady, Nina should really put her spy skills to good use and try to figure this out.

GH history has proven that Nina likes to snoop and make accusations, so she could uncover the truth about Gladys’ twisted plot with Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) eventually.

If Nina plays the hero for Sasha and exposes Gladys’ scheme, she’ll certainly earn Sasha’s gratitude. The same goes for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) since he cares about Sasha’s well-being, too.

However, this could also go a long way toward helping Nina bond with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who considers Sasha once of her closest friends.

Now that Willow is opening her heart to Nina just a crack, there’ll be opportunities for Nina to make progress – and this Sasha rescue could be one of them.

Naturally, Nina could stand to pull off a heroic gesture or two right about now.

Since Nina’s SEC tipoff backlash is still brewing, doing a good deed for Sasha might help to offset some of the damage later.
