Iconic soap opera star Billy Miller, best known for starring in “General Hospital,” and “The Young and the Restless,” passed away at 43 on Friday in Austin, Texas. The actor was only a few days shy of celebrating his 44th birthday.

His bereaved mother, Patricia Miller, has since spoken about her son’s passing. In her statement, she revealed details surrounding the cause of Billy’s death.

According to Patricia, the “American Sniper” star had been grappling with bipolar depression for years. Of her son and his untimely death, the grieving mom disclosed:
“…He did everything he could to control the disease. He loved his family, his friends and his fans but in the end the disease won the fight and he surrendered his life.”

Patricia also thanked Billy’s countless supporters and loved ones, who have all extended their condolences concerning the sad news. Additionally, her statement made it clear that all the other assumptions and claims about how Billy died are false.

Some who read Patricia’s statement, which also boasted about how loved Billy was, responded to what she had to say. Many of Billy’s supporters extended their well wishes:
“His kindness, talent, and that beautiful smile will never be forgotten. My sincere condolences to his brave mother…”

Billy Miller’s Legendary Career Continues to Be Remembered by All Who Have Paid Respects to the Late Actor
Billy, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1979, on September 17, got his acting start after some friends dared him to become an actor. The Grand Prairie-raised star studied production sequence at the University of Texas before moving to Los Angeles.

The “Suits” talent started out doing commercials before scoring a big break in the television series “All My Children.” Following his time on the series, which aired in the ’70s, Billy went on to star as Billy Abbot in “The Young and the Restless.”

He appeared in over 700 episodes of the popular show and won three Daytime Emmy’s before acquiring a role on “General Hospital.” Other notable series Billy starred in include “Suits,” and “Truth Be Told.”

As news of Billy’s passing made its way around the world, many of his co-stars shared touching tributes in his honor. Among the many expressing their sadness over the tragic news, Billy’s “All My Children” co-star Chrishell Stause was one of them. Stause took to her Instagram story to say:
“Still processing this. Too many feelings, but you are gone way too soon and I’m so happy I got to work with you all those years, but also call you a friend…”

Similarly, Eileen Davidson, who co-starred alongside Billy in “The Young and the Restless,” also shared a tribute to the late actor. Davidson expressed:
“I’m so sad to hear of Billy Miller’s passing. His infectious charm and warmth left lasting impressions on all of us who were lucky enough to have him in our lives…”
Billy continues to be missed dearly by all who knew and supported him.
His legacy is survived by his mom, sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew.
