General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Injured in Serious Mob Drama – Why Sonny Forgives Bride-to-Be for Betrayal?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) certainly won’t be happy when he finds out Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been keeping a huge secret from him. Sonny has become determined to find out who leaked Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) insider trading to the SEC, but it’s been Nina the whole time.
Nina got Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to rat Drew and Carly out for her, so she’s been sitting on a shocker that Sonny will consider a deep betrayal when the time comes.
In fact, it could be enough to make Sonny call off the wedding and break things off completely!
However, that doesn’t mean Sonny and Nina will necessarily be over for good. That’s especially true since some serious mob trouble seems to be headed Sonny’s way.
Sonny is mixed up with some dangerous people now that he’s done business with Pikeman since that deal almost got him shot at a warehouse.
Of course, there’s the potential for Pikeman to turn on Sonny as well – not to mention Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) boss wants him dead.
Even Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is scheming more than usual these days and could join a team of mob enemies against Sonny.
The situation just feels awfully ominous with all these foes rising up to potentially cause destruction. A mob attack could be brewing, so what happens if Nina gets caught in the crossfire?
Nina has been connected to Sonny for a while now and is currently his fiancée, so that could make her a possible target no matter how the SEC mess plays out.
It’s easy to imagine Nina landing in another coma because of her link to Sonny, especially since Carly, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) have been talking about the growing danger.
If Nina ends up in a fight for her life, Sonny might soften and vow to forgive everything if she’ll just come back to him.
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) could find herself softening toward comatose Nina, too.
GH fans can’t forget that Nurse Clara (Susan Viol) pushed Willow to consider how she’d feel if Nina died, so that could’ve been a hint about a life-and-death situation looming for Willow’s bio mom.
If Nina gets seriously injured, it could leave Sonny and Willow less concerned about her mistakes and more concerned about whether she’ll awaken!
