General Hospital Update: Tuesday, August 8 – Emotional Meltdown, Drastic Schemes and Secrets Between Lovers
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 8, indicates that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will hope that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) came through for him on donating all his money to rehabilitating inmates.
Martin will question if Cyrus is certain about his choice, but his brother will be adamant about using the funds to do some good.
Ever since Cyrus almost met a grim fate, he’s become determined to make the most of his second chance.
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll get grilled about Pikeman and whether he’s keeping secrets from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Anna will feel like Valentin knows more than he’s letting on and will ultimately push for the truth.
As for Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), they’ll have a fierce faceoff.
Since Tracy got nosy and quizzed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for updates on Gregory’s health, he’ll probably blast her for that and warn her to just butt out.
When it comes to Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) future, Tracy will have a clear plan in mind for him and will deliver some big news to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Since Ned is convinced that he’s “Eddie Maine” and shows no signs of remembering his old life, Tracy will feel like they need to force him into a mental institution.
Tracy will try to get Olivia on board, but Olivia might think they should exhaust all other options first.
GH spoilers say Olivia will have a conversation with Ned and shift his perspective, so he may agree to attend some therapy sessions if she can sell him on the idea.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will discuss their recent date night, which went quite well.
Even so, Liz will fear that maybe Finn’s changed his mind about moving forward with a relationship.
Of course, Finn is crazy about Elizabeth and has no intention of walking away from their spark.
Since Liz is still interested in seeing where this romance could lead, Finn will insist he’s still interested, too.
Once Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) meets up with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), he’ll voice his concerns about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and the terrible situation she’s stuck in at Ferncliff.
Cody will convince Brook Lynn that some sketchy behavior has gone down, so she’ll take advantage of an opportunity and distract the staff.
That’ll give Cody the opening he needs to make a beeline for Sasha’s room.
Unfortunately, Sasha will be in bad shape due to the drugs that Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) keeps pumping into her.
Tuesday’s GH preview video shows Sasha having a meltdown as she seemingly shouts about how she never meant to harm Cody.
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha’s emotional turmoil could lead to Cody doing something desperate – like scheming to pull off her getaway sooner or later.
